Position: VP of Internal Audit  

Division: Finance 

Based in: Paris  

 

Your role in our Future  

The Internal Audit department reports to the Group Financial Director, and periodically to the Audit Committee (four meetings per year). It ensures that all of the Group's activities, organizations and processes are able to achieve sustainable growth, as defined in the strategy, while respecting adequate risk management. 

 

Internal Audit performs a periodic risk assessment and in-depth audit missions on specific themes, depending on the risk assessment carried out and/or to respond to General Management and Audit Committee requests. 

All types of risks are assessed and monitored: financial risks, operational risks, compliance risks, reputational risks, cybersecurity risks, etc. 

Internal Audit work provides assurance to General Management on the level of risk coverage and contributes to improving Quadient's risk management system. 

 

Finally, you demonstrate leadership and know how to set the course and contribute to the production of audits with the rest of the team. 

 

Key Accountabilities  

As part of your role, you will be required, among other things, to: 

  • supervise the audits entrusted in compliance with the quality standards of the profession, in its different phases: diagnosis, control, definition of recommendations, drafting of reports and presentation of the conclusions to the management of the audited departments; 

  • report the progress of the audit plan and any other relevant topic to the members of the Audit Committee; 

  • contribute to the annual update of the risk mapping in collaboration with the CSR and risks director, as well as to the update of the dedicated chapter of the universal registration document (URD); 

  • monitor the findings raised by the external auditors relating to internal control; 

  • promote the continuous improvement of the audit function, but also the identification and sharing of good practices and opportunities for improving processes within the Group; 

  • contribute to the improvement of internal control by setting up and monitoring internal control self-assessment campaigns with regard to the key controls identified for each entity; 

  • monitor alerts received via the dedicated system in collaboration with the CSR and risks director. 

 

 

Your Profile   

  • You have relevant academic training (Master's degree delivering a diploma in finance, auditing, or controlling) and have significant and successful experience in an audit firm as well as in a company, if possible in internal audit. Risk expertise is also expected. 

  • You are a team player, have excellent listening skills and clear and concise communication skills for all types of interlocutors (written and oral) in French and English. 

  • You demonstrate discernment and critical thinking, and are rigorous while adopting a friendly spirit and demonstrating diplomacy. 

  • The position is based at the head office located in Bagneux in France (Line 4 – Bagneux Lucie Aubrac, RER B, bus) and requires periodic travel to all of the Group's subsidiaries, located throughout the world (approximately 30% of the time). Some audits can be carried out remotely to limit the team's financial and carbon footprint.
