Senior Global Digital Experience Director

Your role in our Future

The Sr. Director, Global Digital Experience is responsible for building a digital strategy that represents Quadient, informs customers of the value of our services, attracts customers to our digital properties, and ultimately drives conversion. The role will be responsible for building a strategy that serves multiple regions and languages, ensuring that our digital strategies and properties help achieve the goals of regional marketing leaders. You will be responsible for building a continuously evolving roadmap for site development and optimization (quadient.com and mail.quadient.com), ensuring that we evolve these properties to improve user engagement and satisfaction.

You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, and Web Development teams, to ensure we have the tools and best practices to serve customers the information they need, when they need it and ultimately convert them.

What you will do

Reporting the VP of Corporate Marketing, The Sr. Director of Global Digital experience will immediately manage a team of SEO professionals, agency relationships, and have the opportunity to grow the team based on need.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build a global digital strategy for Quadient to drive awareness and visibility through critical channels (SEO, SEM, Web) and lead a team to efficiently execute that strategy
  • Build compelling digital customer experience journeys that support prospective clients in their discovery, consideration, and selection of Quadient services.
  • Build web development roadmap in collaboration with Marketing Operations team to ensure we continuously adding new features and experiences to address user needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in demand generation, product marketing, and web development to ensure key products and solutions are effectively represented across Quadient web properties
  • Lead SEO team in driving the visibility of Quadient solutions and increasing organic lead volume
  • Ensure websites are optimized for organic search, and that pages are continually evaluated and updated to ensure organic visibility
  • Maximize page conversion rates to support organization pipeline goals, including regular user and A/B testing to ensure web properties are meeting customer needs, and improve conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Optimize user journey touchpoints across the website including chat bots, contact us forms, and other conversion opportunities
  • Collaborate with demand generation teams to execute online marketing campaigns and improve conversion
  • Build and enforce plan for website governance in collaboration with the Marketing Operations and Web Development teams, ensuring the appropriate workflows and QA for new page requests, production, QA, and publishing
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations team to implement new marketing technologies that will help improve customer service and satisfaction, and gain new insights on user behaviour and preferences
  • Manage team budget for SEO, SEM, and web development initiatives
  • Provide regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports on global site performance against KPIs, with analysis and insights on opportunities for improvement

Your profile

  • 15+ years of related experience leading web strategy for mid-sized organizations or large enterprises (B2B experience a plus)
  • 10+ years of managerial experience, with the ability to coach a team to high-performance and to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Strategic thinker and builder with track record of delivering results and driving revenue through web properties and digital experiences
  • Deep understanding of UX best practices, and keen eye for design and leading trends in web and digital content experiences
  • Expertise in performance analytics and analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
  • Deep understanding of SEO and SEM best practices, tools and platforms (SEMrush)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua) and knowledge of best practices for integration and optimization
  • Ability to prioritize high volume of requests and projects, and effectively delegate them across the team
  • Capacity to move quickly, and respond to fast turnaround times with agility and flexibility
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress)
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior-level and executive stakeholders across the organization
  • Team player, eager to build a high-performance team and center of excellence for digital marketing
  • Ability to be a player/coach, guiding and overseeing the work of team members while simultaneously possessing the ability to take a hands-on approach when required
