Quadient is seeking individuals with a strong combination of technical aptitude, business acumen, and communication skills to join our Professional Services team. As an Oracle Senior Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in working with Project and Customer teams to define, implement, and support their Oracle initiatives. You will be involved in a variety of activities, including assessing customer needs, defining business processes/workflows, developing functional requirements, application configuration/administration, managing test plans, and post-deployment support activities.

Additionally, you will provide implementation support for key business application goals and custom interfaces, with a primary focus on delivering comprehensive solutions in the areas of Oracle Leasing and Finance Management modules.


Your role in our future

  • Conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of enterprise-wide systems across functional areas.

  • Analyze business requirements and develop detailed functional and technical designs.

  • Interact daily with business owners to understand business processes and key requirements, and proactively work to resolve system issues.

  • Conduct analysis of system specifications and use analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes.

  • Perform application configuration, testing, and evaluation to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and standards.

  • Educate business users on the use of the system.

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to gather requirements and design extensions for complex data integration solutions.

  • Provide implementation support for Oracle Leasing and Finance Management modules.

  • Communicate complex technical principles effectively to non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate and contribute to a teamwork-driven environment.


Your profile

  • Experience: 8+ years of hands-on development experience in Oracle Applications within Finance modules, with 3 to 5 years specifically in Oracle Leasing and Finance Management (OLFM) module.

  • Knowledge: Strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle Leasing and Finance Management (OLFM) and Oracle Financial Modules (AP, AR, GL, FA).

  • Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Script.

  • Project Management: Knowledge and experience in Project Management methodologies.

  • Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changes with a positive, can-do attitude.

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related fields is required.
