Portfolio Specialist - CollectionsHourly Rate - $22.00

Your role in our future
The Portfolio Specialist is a key member of the Collections Department, responsible for managing a $3M portfolio of up to 4,000 business customers. This role involves making over 50 customer contacts daily across various business sectors, including leasing, government, national, hard sales, and revolving credit.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers in your assigned portfolio.
- Review delinquent accounts and perform collection activities.
- Coordinate with departments to resolve issues and ensure operational excellence.
- Respond to inquiries about payments and escalate cases as needed.
- Meet established collection performance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
- Partner with sales and field management to resolve account issues.
Your profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial collections with a customer service mentality, must demonstrate commitment to customer retention, teamwork, and possess the initiative to seek and embrace change through establishing and achieving performance goals.
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial collections or customer service (recent graduates with a strong customer focus will be considered).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to make over 50 effective customer contacts daily and manage a portfolio over $3M.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of Oracle or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong customer-centric, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

This position has an hourly pay range of:
$19.38-$29.09Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
