The Business Development Specialist’s role is to drive new business opportunities for all product lines by responding to inbound inquiries and executing targeted outbound campaigns. The BDS will nurture new relationships until they are ready to engage with a sales professional and will play a key role in the successful transition of that relationship to the appropriate sales channel. This position is integral to increasing Quadient’s brand recognition, creating awareness of our full suite of solutions, and supporting our growth strategy.


Your role in our future

  • Generate interest in Quadient’s products and services by executing outbound call campaigns and responding to inbound inquiries. Understand the prospect’s business needs and present compelling solution concepts that address those needs.

  • Deliver Quadient’s value proposition with conviction, instilling confidence in our ability to deliver results.

  • Qualify the intent to purchase and secure leads or appointments for all sales channels.

  • Meet departmental metrics, including daily dials, talk time, lead generation, and conversion rates.

  • Accurately update and maintain the CRM with call activity and detailed notes.

  • Manage time effectively to achieve personal and departmental goals.

  • Collaborate with team members and other functional areas as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required.



Your profile

  • Post-secondary education or a minimum of three years of experience in a business development or sales environment.

  • Fluent in French Canadian and English (bilingual requirement).

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.

  • A team player who can contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

  • Proven problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of business culture.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience working in a CRM environment.
