In a few sentences, tell me about yourself

I am originally from the UK but have lived in the US for longer than I lived in England. I now live in Chicago, IL. In my free time I love to travel, anywhere warm in the winter months and I’m always looking to go to new places that I have never been. I also love to be lazy with my two pit bull dogs (Miyagi and Mac) and work out with my fiancée Tommy and my two “bonus” kids, Brendan and Fiona.

Why do you believe in the company's services and products?

Because they work! Having used Quadient Accounts Receivable myself, I know the value it brings! Beyond that, we have the best R&D team who constantly strive to improve the product, often under very difficult circumstances as many of them are located in Ukraine! The entire Quadient Accounts Receivable team, and Intelligent Communication Automation team at large are passionate individuals who never stop refining the products and services to ensure our customers are delighted!

Tell us about your journey at Quadient. Where you began and where you are today.

I joined Quadient as part of the YayPay acquisition in 2020. Prior to that I was actually a customer of YayPay and was in the Credit to Cash space for my entire career. Having a deep understanding of the Credit to Cash ecosphere and having been a practitioner has allowed me to serve in many roles within Quadient. I am an SME of the AR product so have helped our sales teams with prospective clients, assisted our CSM teams with current customers and also been leveraged by marketing to become a thought leader in the space. I’ve become a little bit of the “go-to” person for all things YayPay and am always happy to help in anyway that I can. I am now the Global ICA Director for AR Practice.

How can we encourage more women to pursue senior leadership roles in their careers?

It’s important to showcase the women who are currently in leadership roles in order to inspire others. In addition to that, it is critical that we make our voices heard, and take a seat at the table. Quadient does a fantastic job of encouraging diversity in leadership roles, with programs such as the Empower Track that teaches women how to really take control of their career path and identifies common pitfalls where women often feel insecure or inferior.

Why does it matter to you to work somewhere that has EPIC values? Which EPIC value relates the most to you?

Values start at the top and need to be more than just buzzwords. I see the reinforcement of the EPIC values from everyone from our CEO, Geoffrey Godet to our latest hire and that is because we, as a company, are invested in making sure we create a true culture that is aligned with these values. I would say the value I relate to the most is Passion. Anyone who knows me, knows I am extremely passionate about the company, the products we sell and the people I work with. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
