Corinne´s Story

Corinne joined Quadient nine years ago. In the world of technology, it’s her people skills that really make the difference.

"I feel as though I thrive in an environment where I can easily interact with lots of different people. The structure of Quadient means that I can be part of a very diverse network. I was also struck when I joined (and I still appreciate it every day) by the open-mindedness of the employees who work here. There’s a lot of respect, for each other and for what we want to achieve as a business".

What attracted you to join Quadient?

I was attracted to Quadient because of the chance to work in a Head Office in France with an international operation. When I read the job advertisement, it also sounded as though they empowered people – and I was interested in going somewhere with less structure and more opportunity. I wanted to be out of my comfort zone, having the freedom to make decisions and explore different ways of working.
I think being open to cultural differences makes my professional life very rich. You have to be open, adaptable, patient sometimes while you wait for translations. You have to learn and accept that different people can have different perspectives on the same situation, and that’s ok. That’s where you build trust and understanding.

What keeps you working at Quadient?

Over the years, Quadient has been open, flexible and trusting with me too. My managers have also tried hard to understand how I need to work and how to help me perform at my best. I’ve been able to work flexibly, to work remotely sometimes, to feel empowered to make decisions.
If there’s one word I keep coming back to, it’s ‘international’. An international company like Quadient needs a culture that is open, supportive and welcoming. We genuinely have that and this is the reason why I enjoy it so much.
