Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and contributing to a high-performing finance team? We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team and play a key role in daily cash reporting, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and audits.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to complex cash accounting and work in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact the accuracy and success of our financial operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
Manage daily cash reporting — track receivables and disbursements, providing critical data for cash forecasting.
Perform monthly cash and accrual reconciliations, including credit card fees and in-transit transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Analyze bank statements, payment registers, and GL transactions to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
Create and maintain journal entries across multiple accounts (cash, revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany, reclassifications, etc.).
Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including reporting and GL analysis.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.
Generate ad hoc reports and provide analysis for management and various departments.
What You Bring
2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a large corporate or public accounting environment.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and practices.
Exposure to complex cash accounting.
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams.
This position has a salary range of:
$50,100.00 - $75,100.00Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
