Are you an experienced accountant who values autonomy and trust, and wants to work for a global company that retains a local feel in the Nordics region

Your role in our future

You will report directly to the Nordic Accounting Manager based in Stockholm, and your role involves the following tasks:

• You will be managing daily general ledger entries and you will be responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, performing daily bank account reconciliations, and preparing and booking monthly accruals and provisions.
• You will conduct monthly and yearly balance sheet reconciliations. Performing monthly intercompany reconciliations, and preparing salaries and expenses.
• Acting as the main contact for authorities, you will be managing tax accounting, VAT declarations, and annual tax returns, and reporting to authorities.
• You will be preparing monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with both local GAAP and IFRS standards, and coordinating with external auditors during year-end closing and preparing annual reports.
• You will participate in finance-related process improvement projects, working closely with, and supporting the Nordic Finance Team.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Economics or Finance (accounting/controlling) and have several years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent.
• You have demonstrated expertise in financial accounting and are advanced in Microsoft Excel.
• You are solution-oriented, meticulous, and have a structured approach to work. You are autonomous and proactive.
• You thrive in a fast-paced international environment with diverse cultural backgrounds. You are able to deliver high quality results within strict deadlines.
• You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Fluency in other Nordic languages and prior experience working with Nordic companies are highly advantageous.
