Your role in our future

Quadient Canada is looking for a seasoned Senior Account Executive (SAE) based in the Maritimes to join our Eastern Canada sales team. SAEs are responsible for prospecting new business, upselling and cross-selling within our install base. The SAE is a solutions/consultative sales role where you will be solving your customer's business challenges by offering relevant and compelling software, hardware, software as a service (SaaS) subscription services and professional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell Quadient Canada’s full range of solutions, both hardware and software, to new and existing customers

  • Work within an assigned territory to achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas

  • Seek opportunities within the assigned territory while building and maintaining a funnel of new business prospects

  • Apply effective selling methodology and processes to maximize business opportunities

  • Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships within the business community

  • Regularly maintain prospects database in Salesforce

  • Complete and ensure accuracy of all documentation pertaining to prospecting, sales concluded and contract negotiations

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly forecast reports

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant B2B direct sales experience

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in a B2B environment

  • Demonstrated analytical skills to assess market trends, plan and execute a sales strategy for the assigned territory

  • Proven ability to effectively manage a software sale process. Experience implementing solutions for enhanced business practices is advantageous

  • Ability to effectively call at all levels within organizations, including executive levels, and apply appropriate selling skills to the level

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English with the ability to negotiate and influence positively. Bilingual French speaker is advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the aptitude to build strong internal business relationships and draw on resources when required

  • A consultative approach to customer service with solid business analysis and proposal development experience

  • Strong business acumen, along with the utmost integrity and professionalism

  • Problem-solving ability, proven analytical skills and resourcefulness to effectively resolve customer-related issues

  • Sound organizational skills with a strong sense of urgency to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and be willing to travel with own vehicle throughout the assigned territory
