Hybrid - remote/Field role (as needed) - candidates must reside in CA, UT or CO

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the overall activities of the sales team, ensuring that sales and budget targets are achieved. Your primary focus will be on serving our employees and customers in an extraordinary manner, ensuring that our brand name and reputation continue to flourish.

Lead a team of three Sales Managers and oversee Field Sales professionals in the central territory. Working in partnership with the executive management of the district, you will provide market leadership and guidance to achieve our goals.

  • Direct supervision of sales leadership, specialists, and sales teams at various levels.
  • Take charge of all recruiting, selection, hiring, training, and candidate pipeline management, while maintaining headcount budget for all sales positions.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Develop strategies to achieve budget and sales mix for all product groups.
  • Create strategies for customer contact, retention, and CRM adoption.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly reviews with sales personnel (RAP, MAP, IAR) and develop improvement plans as per district policy.
  • Review monthly and quarterly sales performance with the General Manager.
  • Foster a quality-driven, upbeat, and motivated work environment through daily involvement and development of strategies to retain and engage employees.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major clients and potential clients.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and counseling to improve employee performance, and minimize employee turnover.
  • Train, develop, and reinforce Quadient USA sales process and sales methodology.
  • Establish sales territories, roles, and responsibilities based on a system that ensures equality and optimizes resources and market opportunities.
  • Drive growth in the installed base and customer acquisition.
  • Complete all required Business Impact training.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned quota as described in individual compensation plan.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for account portfolio management, pipeline management, recording all scheduled sales activities, and managing sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in presenting the Quadient value proposition.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, practices, procedures, and demonstrate the Quadient values.
  • Ensure that all sales/sales reporting activities adhere to regulatory requirements and Quadient Ethics policies.

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Director-level position supervising Sales Managers and teams.
  • Willingness to travel within a specific region.
  • Strong leadership, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic growth plans for specified regions.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly to change.

This position has a target base salary of:

$150,000.00

and annual commission target of:

$225,000.00
